The Wandering Shuckers
Shuck Around and Find Out.
Introducing The Wandering Shuckers — our take on the classic “bucket shucker” tradition that’s been part of New York’s seafood story for generations.
Back when oysters were sold on every corner and eaten standing up with a splash of vinegar and a grin, bucket shuckers roamed the city, blade in hand and bucket by their side. We’re keeping that energy alive — only now, it’s premium farmed oysters, clean setups, and conversation that flows as easily as the shell liquor.
We shuck right where the people are — in your crowd, at your table, or moving through the room — bringing the raw bar experience directly to your guests. No setup, no fuss. Just the freshest oysters, shucked right, the way they’re meant to be.

FAQ
Q: What exactly is a “Wandering Shucker”?
A: Think of it as an oyster bar on the move. Our shucker moves through your event, freshly shucking oysters and serving them right where your guests are — no long lines, just great oysters and good conversation.
Q: How long does the service last?
A: Up to 2 hours of active shucking and service for up to 100 oysters.
Q: Can I add more oysters?
A: Absolutely. Additional oysters can be added in increments of 50 — we’ll help you plan based on your guest count and appetite.
Q: Do I need to provide anything?
A: Just space to store our cooler and happy guests. We bring everything else.
Q: Do you offer more than oysters?
A: Yes — we can build a full raw bar or pair your wandering shucker with shrimp, clams, or caviar service. Ask about our Raw Bar Experience upgrades.
Q: Do you recycle shells?
A: Whenever possible, yes. We work with local shell recycling programs (Billion Oyster Project in NYC) to make sure your event gives back to the ocean.
Q: Is gratuity included?
A: Nope — our shuckers work hard, so gratuities are never expected but always appreciated.
